About me

Right now I’m in school at the University of Michigan‘s School of Information, studying Human-Computer Interaction. Previously I majored in Computer Science and Math, also at Michigan. I love using technology to solve problems and make things, and am very interested in how these systems and services are used by actual people. Technology is becoming increasingly capable and complex, but we as users are not gaining features and brainpower as quickly. This creates a difficult and exciting challenge for people like me.

I also captain and play on the University of Michigan’s club ultimate team. We practice four times a week and travel to play in five to seven tournaments per semester.

About the site

This site is built with WordPress, using a custom theme. I’m using the jQuery Javascript library, and the Paging Keys functions for keyboard navigation (“j” and “k” on blog pages). The photos at the top (you did hover over that strip of color, right?) were taken with my Lomo LC-A.
